KIIT & KISS Founder Achyuta Samanta Receives 71st Honorary Doctorate from Karnataka University

Bhubaneswar (Odia Gossip Bureau): KIIT and KISS Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta was conferred with his 71st Honorary Doctorate by Karnataka University during its 75th Annual Convocation held in Dharwad.

Established in 1949, Karnataka University is regarded as one of Karnataka’s oldest and most prestigious universities. The honorary doctorate was presented by His Excellency Thawar Chand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, who attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor and other distinguished dignitaries.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Samanta said he felt humbled and deeply honoured to receive the recognition from such a historic institution with a rich academic legacy. He also appreciated the warm welcome and affection extended by the university leadership, faculty members, and students.

He thanked Karnataka University for recognising his contributions in the field of education and social empowerment and dedicated the honour to the students, staff, and well-wishers of the KIIT and KISS family, whose trust, love, and support have always remained his strength.
