Sadhvi Sail Crowned Femina Miss India World 2026 at Grand Finale in KIIT Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (Odia Gossip Bureau): Sadhvi Sail from Goa was crowned Femina Miss India World 2026 at the grand finale of the 61st Femina Miss India, presented by KIIT Bhubaneswar and co-powered by Rajnigandha Pearls. The glittering event celebrated beauty, confidence, purpose, and the spirit of modern Indian womanhood.
Rajnandini Pawar from Maharashtra secured the title of Femina Miss India 2026 – 1st Runner-Up, while Sree Advaita was declared Femina Miss India 2026 – 2nd Runner-Up.
The prestigious pageant began last November with a nationwide talent hunt across five zones—North, East, North East, South, and West—selecting 30 state winners who underwent rigorous grooming and training in Mumbai. This year’s theme, “Connecting the DOTS” (Daughters of This Soil), highlighted unity in diversity by bringing together contestants from 30 states on one platform.
The grand finale at KIIT University witnessed vibrant cultural performances by KIIT and KISS students, including tribal dances, multilingual musical presentations, and a flute band. The event was attended by prominent personalities including Prof. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS, Vineet Jain, Managing Director of The Times Group, and actress Zeenat Aman, among others.
The contestants dazzled in multiple rounds, including traditional handloom presentations under “Vishwa Sutra – Weaves of India for the World,” elegant gown rounds, and designer showcases by Vazaneh by Prbhjiit Maniktala, complemented by Tanishq jewellery.
Special performances by singer Jubin Nautiyal, dancer Lauren Gottlieb, and actor Ishaan Khatter added glamour to the evening. The Top 8 contestants faced an intense Q&A round judged by an elite panel featuring Zeenat Aman, Madhur Bhandarkar, Neha Dhupia, Dutee Chand, Terence Lewis, and others.
The evening concluded with the coronation ceremony where outgoing queens crowned the new winners. Sadhvi Sail will now represent India at the prestigious Miss World contest, carrying forward the legacy of Femina Miss India on the global stage.
